The 2nd Santi Strong 5K was amazing – and cold!
Held in memory of Jordan Santiago, our 2nd Santi Strong 5K run/walk took place on November 19, 2022, through the trails of Bear Creek Park in Keller, TX. We had a great turnout of about 200+ people who brave the freezing cold to come out to support the race and participate!

Jordan Santiago Memorial Business Scholarship: meet the 2022 awardee
Jordan Santiago Memorial Business Scholarship was established in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in memory of Andrew Jordan Santiago (BSBA 2018, MACC 2018) for the benefit of the Department of Accounting in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (University). The second recipient of the Scholarship is Regan Kennedy.

Jordan’s friends represented our Foundation at Hope Starts Here 5K
Last Saturday, a group of Jordan’s friends represented the Jordan Santiago iCare Foundation at the annual Hope Starts Here 5K. This event was created to honor families impacted by organ, eye, and tissue donation while raising support for Southwest Transplant Alliance’s programs.

Fox26 Houston interviewed Jordan’s heart transplant recipient and the Santiagos
The TV channel interviewed Ernest Wright – the man who received Jordan`s heart – and the Santiagos. Andrew and Heather had the opportunity to hear their son’s heart beating in Ernest’s chest.
