Boosting Opportunities: Keller High Scholarship Increased to $750 per Student

Great news! We are thrilled to announce that we have increased the scholarship amount for Keller High School Senior graduates. Our scholarship is awarded annually, and this year, we have raised the scholarship amount from $500 to $750 per student. We are committed to supporting the educational pursuits of young students and hope that this increase in value will help students achieve their academic goals.

Jordan was a Keller High School graduate who was passionate about education and service. He was actively involved in student council and was co-captain of the varsity tennis team. This scholarship is a way for us to honor Jordan’s legacy and support students who share his values.

The scholarship is open to all Keller High School Senior graduates, and the recipient can use the $750 towards any college. The application process is now open, and a panel of teachers will review all applicants to make the final selection of the awardees. This year, we will be awarding the scholarship to two deserving students. The award ceremony is scheduled for May 15th at 6:00pm at KHS, and we cannot wait to present the scholarships to the recipients.

We hope that this scholarship will motivate and encourage students to pursue higher education and achieve their full potential. In addition to the financial award, we also want to give students an opportunity to reflect on their community service and how they plan to pay it forward in the future.

Application details:

The application should include a cover sheet (provided by KHS), a copy of the transcript, a resume, 1 letter of recommendation, and a typed 300–400-word essay. The essay should explore the following theme: “Education and service were major components of everything that Jordan did. How have you served your community in the past? If you were to receive this scholarship, how would it impact your ability to pay it forward?”

We wish all the applicants the best of luck in their future academic endeavors!
