Jordan’s friends represented our Foundation at Hope Starts Here 5K

Last Saturday, a group of Jordan’s friends represented the Jordan Santiago iCare Foundation at the annual Hope Starts Here 5K. This event was created to honor families impacted by organ, eye, and tissue donation while raising support for Southwest Transplant Alliance’s programs. STA provides care for donor and recipient families, inspires the community to honor the gift of life, and advances transplant science through innovation and research.

According to Matt Dillon, a board member of our Foundation, there were a few hundred people who came out to attend the race.

Thank you to those who showed up to represent us and honor Jordan:

“I think it’s always a really fun time to show up and support any event that helps raise awareness for something that is so impactful and life-changing to so many people, especially with STA and organ donation.”

“We were excited to be able to honor Jordan’s memory by participating in the Hope Starts Here 5k. It was a fun and easy way to bring awareness to such a great program.”

It takes all of us coming together as a community to bring awareness to organ donation and transplantation. Learn more about how to get involved at Southwest Transplant Alliance’s website.
