On April 12, the Santiagos and part of our Foundation team participated in the first Donate Life Celebration in the Hope Memorial Garden hosted by the Organ Procurement Committee at Texas Health Plano, in partnership with Southwest Transplant Alliance. The event was also held in conjunction with National Donate Life Month.
Andrew and Adryan Santiago, along with THP’s organ procurement committee leader Kristi Bonny, RN, raised the Donate Life flag to honor Jordan Santiago. Jordan was registered as an organ donor and gave the gift of life to five individuals, in addition to enhancing and improving the lives of up to 75 people through tissue donation. At the event, the Santiagos shared their story and encouraged all those in attendance to consider registering as an organ donor.
